Impact of Non-Oil Export on Economic Growth in Iraq: An Application of the Bound Test Approach

The crucial role of non-oil exports in promoting job creations, investments, productions and even infrastructure improvements is well established the literature, Iraq, despite abundant resources, accounts for less than 10 percent total export receipts. This paper aims to examine impact on economic growth Iraq by employing ARDL model investigate long short-run effects Iraq’s GDP. To do so, annual data GDP, manufacture, food agricultural products, exchange rates have been collected from World Trade Organization Bank (2003- 2020). results reveal a significant both short run. It’s recommended governments policymakers that diversifying economy paramount faster growth, greater creation, volatility.
